About Hilltop Hunting Lodge
Hilltop Hunting Lodge located in Sargent, Nebraska is owned by Reece and Jane Jensen. The family owned business has over 3500 acres of land and 1200 acres of this is CRP with 175 acres planted into food plots. ( Corn, Milo, Cane, High oiled Sunflowers, Alfalfa and Wheat ) We do mow strips through out the CRP and food plots to make the walking easier. We have an abundance of canyons with trees and thickets through out the rest of the area. Here you will find some of the finest Nebraska pheasant hunting and quail hunting around. Our turkey hunting here in Nebraska is second to none and the Nebraska whitetail deer hunting and mule deer hunting is like no other. With such an abundant food sources, we promise only quality pheasant, quail, turkey and deer hunting experiences.
Accomodations & Services
- Controlled shooting (Pheasant & Quail) dates are September 1st to March 31st. Deer and Turkey dates are set by the Nebraska Game & Parks Commission (you will have to draw a permit through them.) Hunters born after 1977 need to have Hunter Safety Courses. You will need to purchase hunting permits also. 2011 Big Game Guide
- Three meals a day of good 'ole country cooking await you at the Hilltop Hunting Lodge, starting the day with a hot country breakfast, great lunch and finishing the day with a large dinner with homemade breads and desserts.
- If you are looking for a place to stay we are also a bed and breakfast. Our lodge accomadates those passing through or staying in the area for awhile.
- Our ranch style hunting lodge has several rooms to choose from along with a game room, TV room with fireplace, large kitchen, plenty of dining space, laundry room, 2 bathrooms (1 with bathtub), and a large outdoor yard to relax in.
- Hilltop Hunting Lodge provides professional guides and experienced Pointing/Flushing Dogs, or you are welcome to use your own dogs. We do have facilities for them.
- We offer transportation to and from Grand Island, Kearney, Broken Bow, Ord, Burwell, and Sargent airports.
- Birds are cleaned and packaged for your departure.
- 10 bird a day limit. Extra birds for a nominal fee.

Our Lodge
Hilltop Hunting Lodge has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Large kitchen, laundry room, game room, fireplace and cable TV.
In the evenings, relax in the comfort of the lodge, enjoy the game room, watch TV in front of the fireplace and visit with your hunting partners and guides.
Plenty of outdoor space to relax and enjoy the day after the hunt.
Hilltop Hunting Lodge has experienced guides & dogs. You are welcomed to bring your dog and we allow them to stay in our kennel.
